Introduction and Letterhead
What I’m Doing and Why
In this post, I will show you how to create a professional letterhead in Microsoft Word. A letterhead is the heading at the top of a letter that usually includes a business name, logo, address, and contact information. Letterheads should always be placed in the header or footer area of a document so they appear on every page.Steps to Complete the Task
- Open Microsoft Word.
- Go to the Insert tab.
- Click on Header and choose a style, or select Edit Header.
- Type in your company or personal information.
- To add a logo, click Pictures and select your logo file.
- Resize and position the logo so it fits neatly at the top.
- Format the text to match your preferred style (font, size, alignment).
- Insert footer information
- Click Close Header and Footer when finished.
Text wrapping makes documents easier to read and visually engaging.
