Introduction and Letterhead

 What I’m Doing and Why

In this post, I will show you how to create a professional letterhead in Microsoft Word. A letterhead is the heading at the top of a letter that usually includes a business name, logo, address, and contact information. Letterheads should always be placed in the header or footer area of a document so they appear on every page.

Steps to Complete the Task

  1. Open Microsoft Word.
  2. Go to the Insert tab.
  3. Click on Header and choose a style, or select Edit Header.
  4. Type in your company or personal information.
  5. To add a logo, click Pictures and select your logo file.
  6. Resize and position the logo so it fits neatly at the top.
  7. Format the text to match your preferred style (font, size, alignment).
  8. Insert footer information
  9. Click Close Header and Footer when finished.
Wrap-Up
Text wrapping makes documents easier to read and visually engaging.
